Our Oud Fragrance Oil has been specially formulated to release an intoxicating musky scent normally derived from the wood resin of the tropical Agar tree. One of the most expensive and sought after fragrances in the world, used in many religious ceremonies in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, China, Japan and India.

As a first in SA, we proudly bring you our Oud Candle Kit. Gorgeous classic gold tins, luxurious soy wax flakes, beautiful colour dye and of course, sumptuous Oud Fragrance.

The kits come with 100% Pure Vegan Soy Wax. It is soft, creamy and plant-based and best used in containers. It holds fragrances beautifully, making it an excellent choice for wax melts and scented container candles. Not only are there “green” advantages to choosing soy wax over a different type of candle wax, but soy wax also burns slower than paraffin wax, meaning you get a candle that lasts longer. While all candles emit some black soot while burning, candles made from soy wax burns cleaner and results in less soot. And, an added bonus is that soy wax can safely be used on your skin.

Kit 1:
- 625g Pure Vegan Soy Wax
- 10ml Oud Fragrance Oil - This premium fragrance will develop in your candle over time. Give it at least 48 hours, ideally up to 2 weeks for optimal fragrance development. We recommend dosage rates of 2% by weight, which is roughly half a tablespoon per 500g wax.
- 4 gold, black or teal candle tins, with lids
- Candle Dye. Be warned that a little goes a long way. Put a few flakes in the pot for a more pastel colour. Add more to get a deeper colour.
- Dried Rose Petals for that extra bit of pizzazz. Put them in your candle once poured into the tins, wait for the wax to harden slightly then drizzle on top.
- Candle accessories - wicks with sustainers, stirring spoon, a melting pot, stainless steel wick placeholders, wick glue dots, safety stickers, an instruction manual.

Kit 2:
- 5ml of the amazing Oud Fragrance Oil will become your all-time favourite candle scent.
- 250g Pure Vegan Soy Wax
- A silicone mould (a sheet of 6), is a great option when your used candles come to an end. You can save all the unused wax of the candle and simply add it to your jug and remelt it. Add to your new silicone mould. We have included additional wicks to help you recycle your wax.
- a lovely red dye heart to colour your wax for your silicone mould. You can add half for a lighter colour.
